THE LAB
The Molecular Microbial Ecology Lab is fully equipped for conducting Metagenomics, Single Cell Genomics and in general many of the "standard" experiments in Microbial Ecology, such as DGGE, FISH, PFGE, qPCR, etc... In particular, we have a special dedicated area for Single Cell Genomics with robotics in an sterile environment. In addition, we have a complete core facility that provide with high-tech instrumental: TEM, SEM, confocal microscopy, Genomic and Proteomic Center, HPLC Unit, a bioinformatic server for computing genome assembly, etc...
